About

Sahar Zadah practises as an integrative therapist and meditation teacher on Bundjalung country in Byron Bay, Australia. Her approach weaves together evidence-based practices, mindfulness, and nature-based wisdom to create a safe and nurturing space for exploration and healing. In her work, Sahar collaborates with clients to develop a secure therapeutic relationship that supports self-discovery, personal growth, and deeper connection with the world.

Drawing from a broad range of theories and modalities, Sahar’s practice incorporates psychodynamic therapy, humanistic approaches, somatic practices, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and eco-psychotherapy. Her work is also influenced by transpersonal psychology, deep ecology, and Western and Eastern philosophies. These diverse perspectives enable her to offer a comprehensive, holistic approach to mental health and well-being.

Central to Sahar’s philosophy is the belief that reconnecting with the beauty of life, whether through our inner world, relationships, or the natural world, can unlock profound healing and transformation. She teaches that by grounding ourselves in the present moment and cultivating self-awareness, we can navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity.

Sahar’s approach is trauma-informed, embodied, and collaborative. She provides a safe space that honours each individual’s unique experiences, recognising that symptoms often reflect deeper, contextual challenges. Her work prioritises uncovering root causes and helping clients integrate their past and present experiences in ways that foster growth, empowerment, and lasting change.

Deeply influenced by her upbringing in the Byron Hinterland and her connection to nature, Sahar views the nature as a powerful teacher. She integrates nature-based practices and mindfulness into her work, offering clients tools to reconnect with themselves, their surroundings, and their place within the greater web of life. This connection informs her belief that healing the self and nurturing the earth are profoundly interconnected acts of love.

At the heart of Sahar’s practice is her belief in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship. She sees therapy as a collaborative journey where clients are supported to explore their inner worlds with compassion and curiosity. By fostering this connection, she helps clients discover their innate capacity for self-awareness, healing, and meaningful connection with others.
